Dudes and dudettes, it’s been a while. Again. Sorry for that. I know, I know, I still owe you the story of how I left Bangkok aboard the night train on my way to Georgetown, Malaysia. And I’ll tell you all about it. I promise.
But right now I just wanted to quickly share with you my Avocado smoothie recipe. Since I came back from Bali, all I’m doing is making avocado smoothies. With sweetened condensed milk, of course. It seems to me that everywhere in SE Asia they have a new trend of putting sweetened condensed milk in all sorts of food. Yes, even avocado smoothies. 😀 Ok, so here you go:
Ingredients (for 1-2 persons)
- 1 Avocado
- 1 cup of milk (or soy milk)
- a handful of crushed ice
- 4-5 teaspoons of sweetened condensed milk
Really easy-peasy. Put all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. I usually start with avocado, ice and milk and add condensed milk later on. Depending on the preferred consistence you may want to add more or less milk. Same goes for condensed milk. Like it even sweeter? No problemo. Just add more of the yummy condensed milk (which, BTW, contains more than 50% sugar, so don’t go crazy…). Use chocolate topping to decorate the glass on the inside.
